Is this you?

Your father’s heart attack came without warning. You would like yours to come with one.

Your annual check-up takes twelve minutes and produces one page. Everything is fine, until one year it is not. You have read enough to know that the plaque, the insulin resistance and the inflammation are there years before the event. Nobody is looking for them.

This page describes what a preventive workup at our hospital includes and how the results turn into a plan.

Beyond the Standard Check-Up

Why Standard Screening Is Not Enough

A standard annual check-up typically includes basic blood work, blood pressure, and perhaps a few cancer screenings. If everything comes back “normal,” you are told you are healthy. But “normal” laboratory ranges are based on population averages — they do not reflect optimal function, and they miss many early disease processes.

Our preventive diagnostics program evaluates your health at a deeper level: advanced cardiovascular risk assessment, comprehensive hormone panels, immune function, micronutrient status, gut health, toxic burden, and markers of biological aging. The goal is not simply to confirm the absence of disease, but to identify and correct the biological trends that lead to disease.

What we measure

Comprehensive Diagnostic Panels

Cardiovascular Risk

Beyond cholesterol: Lp(a), apoB, oxidized LDL, homocysteine, hs-CRP, fibrinogen, and advanced lipid particle analysis. These markers identify cardiovascular risk that standard lipid panels miss entirely. Carotid ultrasound and arterial stiffness testing assess vascular health directly.

Cancer Early Detection

Comprehensive tumor marker panels, NK cell activity (immune surveillance), circulating tumor cell analysis for those at high risk, and genetic susceptibility assessment. Early detection of immune dysfunction that precedes cancer development.

Hormonal Assessment

Full thyroid panel (TSH, fT3, fT4, rT3, antibodies), cortisol rhythm, DHEA-S, testosterone (total and free), estradiol, progesterone, IGF-1, melatonin, and insulin -- evaluating the complete hormonal landscape that governs energy, cognition, and aging.

Metabolic Health

Fasting insulin, HOMA-IR (insulin resistance), HbA1c, advanced glucose tolerance, uric acid, liver enzymes, and metabolic syndrome assessment. Many people are metabolically unwell years before diabetes or fatty liver disease is diagnosed.

Micronutrient Status

Intracellular mineral analysis, functional vitamin testing (B12, folate, D, E, K), omega-3 index, CoQ10, ferritin, and zinc/copper ratio. Subclinical nutrient deficiencies impair enzymatic function and accelerate aging.

Toxic Burden

Heavy metal screening (mercury, lead, cadmium, aluminum), mycotoxin testing, and environmental toxin exposure assessment. Decades of accumulated toxins impair mitochondrial function, hormone signaling, and immune health.
