Physical Therapy

Physical therapy at St. George Hospital supports recovery and restoration of physical function. Our rehabilitation services are integrated into treatment programs for cancer, chronic disease, and post-viral conditions.
Overview

What Is Physical Therapy?

Physical therapy addresses the functional and physical limitations that often accompany serious illness. Muscle weakness, fatigue, reduced mobility, balance problems, and deconditioning are common in patients with cancer, chronic infections, and post-viral syndromes. Our physical therapy programs are designed to rebuild strength, improve endurance, and restore the physical capacity needed for daily life.
